Thoughts!

I have had a lot of thoughts going through my head lately.

Weird, deep,thoughtful, profound, scary, mournful, funny, silly and insane thoughts just to name a few.

I also have been thinking a lot what to do now that my kids are getting older I find my self lonely a lot in this big house with no kids during the day.

I don't want to get a job because I want to be available for my kids if they need me.

I have been thinking about volunteering  I just need to find the right place to do so.

I also have been thinking of  becoming a yoga instructor.

I really need something.

I also keep thinking about running a half marathon it is one of my goals this year I just need to find the right one.

It took me a while but I love running it's a part of who I am now. I think a lot about what a hard journey it was to love running I am glad I stuck with it because I found out I am really good at it.

William has been in my thoughts a lot lately I miss him so much it's hard to breath sometimes.

I also think of how much I miss my oldest daughter Kadie and her family, I really wish they lived closer.

My Brother Carl has been in my thoughts a lot too sometimes it feels like he is dead not in prison for a crime he did not commit.

I also think what a chicken I am not to go see him I just cant bring myself to see him in such an awful place.

My thoughts turn often to if I am a good mom, I know I am a OK my but am I a good mom.

So many thought I tell you and when I run with out music I get more.

So there you have it a gimps into my thoughts.

Color

Lets just say I am not a black and white kinda girl. I love to wear color it makes me happy and feel good. Right now shades of blue is my thing.

Crazy Colorado weather

                     Today was icky and snowy I hate when it snows here on the days I drive because there are so many crazy drivers that don't know how to drive in the snow.  

Yesterday was so beautiful with bright blue sky's but windy.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring..

Kidney Stones. Yuck.

I have spent most of today in bed feeling yucky.

I have kidney stones again, I have been trying to pass this stone for almost 2 week.

I usually pass them on my own sometimes they pass easily with in one to two days  sometimes they take weeks and some time I have to have surgery to remove them.

I really do hate them I have had then since I was 16 sometimes I can go years with out having any but lately they have been coming every 6 months.

The Dr. said I am rare case that have genetically inherited them so there is really nothing I can do to prevent them. 

I curse my dad for passing them on to me. Just kidding I love my daddy at least inherited his speed  when it comes to running.

If you are wondering yes kidney stones are worse than labor.

Easy Valentines day wreath.

The other day I wanted to make a fun Valentines day wreath  so I gathered stuff I had in my craft room and went to work and came up with this wreath.

I think it turned out pretty sweet.

The niece part was it took about a half an hour to make and it was cheap.

Here is what you will need.

a round wreath  form {I used a willow wreath from the dollar store}

scrap fabric 

hot glue gun  and hot glue sticks

buttons ringtones for flower centers.

Lace and what ever else you want.

First I cut 3 5 inch strips of fabric that was 24 inches long then wrapped them around the wreath putting hot glue on each fabric end to keep it in place.

I then made some rolled flowers in different sizes. 

{Here is a good tutorial on how to make rolled  flowers.}

I then played with how I wanted the flowers on the wreath before I glued them in place.

After I was happy with how it all looked I glued it all in place.

That is all there was too it

OK one more step hang it where you want it, I choose my front door I think it looks perfect there..

Proud moma!

Garrett is an amazing kid he is my hardest worker. Garrett Is well loved by his, teachers, coaches peers, youth leaders and friends {and his mom and dad}.

Most people think of Garrett as a jock yes he is awesome at sports but what most people don't know about Garrett is that he is super smart.

He is just as competitive in academics as he is in sports.

He know with both sports and  academics he can get a free higher education

if he works hard at both so one day he can be accepted to the air force academy.

Garret was accepted into the AVID program for high school it is a collage prep program.

It will be a lot of hard work but he is up to the Challenger.

His dad and I are very proud of him..

A glimps of my week.

It was just lovely today.

I wish I could stop time.

Mr. Benny is growing to fast. I am so glad he likes to snuggel still.. Moments like this makes me want to stop time..

These make me smile.

It's nice to know my that Benny  has a sense of humor, and is kind to others.

I also love that others see that Garrett has integrity..

A Visit from Carroll

We love this little guy. Carroll came to play with us today. We had lots of fun hanging out... He loves his Aunties and Uncels..  I think they love him too.

I love these two boys. My girls make hansome babys. I get to see Mr. Carroll a lot I am glad he lives so close. I get to see him grow and do new things. Mr. Boone lives so far a way and I miss him a lot..  I miss getting to se him learn and grow. I am glad his mom takes lots of pictuers. One day maybe they will move a live near us...

A little bit of Ben

Ben loves to drive the car he thinks is the most awesome thing ever. When we are almost to the drive way I will let him sit on my lap and drive the car into the garage. 

He loves it and it makes him feel special.

Ben also like Rocks he could play with them every day all day long .

He has quite the collection of them.

His favorite thing to do with rocks is to stack them.

He likes to see how many rocks he can stack at on time.

Then he likes to knock them down.

I love that he is 8 years old and still loves the simple things in life..

Crafty Maddie

Madeline wanted to make her friends a gift for Christmas so she made her and her two girl friends matching head bands.

I encourage my kids to try and discover their talents.

I think crafting is one of hers..

She did a great job!

Cub scouts

I love watching Ben at Pack meeting he gets so excited. I also love watching the cub master give out awards , I  have a huge on him he is super hot if you ask me. I may struggel being the Wolf Den leader but I am learning ti like it..

I tell you a little secret even if I don't leave the house I always get dressed do my hair and make up and put jewelry on.

Some might think I am weird but that's just how I am.

I took the kids to school and boy was it cold outside.

After I droped off Ben I went to Target and got a new pair of flats yes I know I don't wear flats but I have to until my foot heals.

So I thought I would get some cute ones.

Had to get some things at Costco so I picked up some chicken for dinner.

Because it was so cold outside I made some cocoa.

I  started to decorated my house for Valentines day on of my favorite days of the year,

Garrett acting like a goof ball , I don't know why but it reminded me of a seen in spider man.
