My favorite foods right now.

I took this picture after a hard work out why might you ask am I posting it with a post about food?

I always get asked how do you stay then when you are always eating junk.

I work out some days better than others but I do it 5 times a day with out fail most of the time.

So to my favorite foods.

Salads with lots of yummy junk like grapes ,chicken, tomatoes almonds and blue cheese.

Chocolate dark flavored chocolate to be exact.

Sea lat and intense orange is my favorite.

I am not a big Oreo fan but lately I love them.

The mint ones are to die for..

So there you have it just a few of my favorite foods right now.

Contagious. ( not for the faint at heart.

Ben told me he had little bumps that were itchy nothing new at our house when it comes to Ben he as severe eczema and we are use to him have secondary issues from it. 

When I looked at it I was shocked at how red his knee was and how fast it was spreading.

I took him to the ER and after 2 DR. looking at it before they came to the concision that it was a form of Herpes. 

Wrestlers get it often when they wrestle it only spreads by contact and is very contagious.. 

Ben is not in wrestling so we ruled that out. 

The only place we could think that he would have gotten it from is the pool. 

It is the only place he wears shorts at.

The DR, gave him meds and it cleared up in three days.

I was very upset that Ben could get such a nasty disease  from going to the pool. 

It makes me mad that parents or teenagers are going to the pool with this. Yes I am aware that maybe they were unaware they had it but it still makes my tummy sick.

I am just so greatful that we have medical insurance and good DR that took good care of Ben.

Dinosaur museum

We drove up to woodland park the other day for a book singing for Dale. It was a beautiful drive up in the mountains.

I really want to make that drive again some day soon. 

 We took Robbie and Garrett with us they had a lot of fun posing with the Dino's.

Dale was abel to sell a few more books and make some good contacts.

Love these handsome boys.

Dale will be leaving to Alaska soon for some book signings I am happy for him but sad that I wont be going.

He is lucky to see our little grandson Boone.

The 4th of July in reverse.

We had a beautiful evening filled with family friends and firer works.

We had fun in Memorial park waiting for the fire works to start it was the first time since 2009 that the city put on fire works in the park because of budget cuts.

We we lucky  had fire works at all because of all the fire bands.

We were amazed at how many people turned out there were thousands and thousands of people.

We found a great space right out

 side the park and planted our selves.

We could not have asked for a better spot.

We were lucky to be able to use the handicap parking so we did not have to park miles away.

After the BBQ we got cleaned up and went to memorial park.

I wished I would have taken more pictures at the BBQ

We had a lot of fun at our friends BBQ

We ate tons of yummy food and talked and talked and talked.

After Breakfast we went swimming and ate an early lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers that the pool provided.

We started the 4th of July with donuts and a prayer.

We thank our Heavenly Father for the privileges of being Americans.

Concert in there park with grandma and grandpa

They sky's were dark but we braved the weather and decided to go to the park anyway.

Grandma and Grandpa came up for the 4th of July.

They love hanging out in the park listing to music as much as we do.

Each week a new music group comes to preform the band that cam this week was a cover band.

They killed not in a good way moves like Jagger by maroon 5  but the rest of the songs were good.

Dale and I love suggeling together as we listen to the music.

I really love our neighborhood they provide so much fun things for us to do..

Making a purse from fat quarters!

I love colors and I love sewing with them.

A few months a go I bought the fat quarter pack with no project in mind.

The other day I was feeling the need to sew.

so I took out this fat quarter and decided to try them out on this purse pattern I found on pintrest

I like how the purse turned out its fun and colorful.

I used 5 different fat quarters  the polka dot and big flowers one  for the out side and the 3 others plus the polka a dot for the inside. for the inside I also used a magnetic button for the closure.

  It turned out fun and whimsical.

It will be perfect for Madeline. She is getting so girly and always wants a new purse.
